The Five Whys

  1. Revolutionary reversed braking system - the brakes are automatically activated as standard, only releasing when you squeeze the handles. This unique safety feature helps prevent falls and ensures secure sitting and standing, particularly beneficial for those with Parkinson's disease or neurological conditions.
  2. TOPRO ErgoGrip handles - uniquely designed ergonomic grips with multiple holding positions that make standing from a seated position easier, provide comfortable armrests whilst resting, and encourage proper upright posture.
  3. Memory Function handle adjustment - TOPRO's patented system allows you to set your perfect handle height once and the rollator remembers it. Adjusting is simple with sturdy lock wheels that provide an increased feeling of safety.
  4. Lightweight yet robust construction - weighing just 7.4kg (Small) or 7.8kg (Medium), this rollator is remarkably easy to manoeuvre whilst supporting users up to 19.7 stone (Small) or 23.6 stone (Medium).
  5. Arrives with essential accessories - includes a detachable 10kg capacity bag for your shopping, a lock clamp to hold it closed when folder, and folds easily with one pull of the seat strap. 7-year warranty for complete peace of mind.

Description

The TOPRO Troja Neuro is great, especially if you or a loved one requires enhanced stability and control, particularly when managing Parkinson's or other neurological conditions. This innovative rollator provides unparalleled safety through its revolutionary reversed braking system.

Revolutionary Reversed Braking System

Unlike traditional rollators where you squeeze handles to brake, the Troja Neuro's brakes are automatically activated as standard. The rollator only moves when you squeeze the brake handles inward, and stops immediately when you release them. This ingenious design may help prevent falls and ensures the rollator won't roll away when it is unattended.

The deep tread on the tyres work in harmony with the braking system to provide exceptional grip and security when you're seated or transferring between your rollator and the sofa. When you're ready to walk, simply squeeze the handles to release the brakes and move forward with confidence. If needed, the brakes can be fully deactivated by pushing the handles all the way down to the locked position, allowing free movement like traditional rollators.

For those who require one-handed operation, TOPRO can supply an optional accessory that enables you to control both brakes with a single hand, making the rollator accessible to users with limited strength or mobility on one side.

TOPRO ErgoGrip Handles

The unique TOPRO ErgoGrip system transforms how you interact with your rollator. These thoughtfully designed handles feature a distinctive knob that provides a firm, secure grip when transitioning from sitting to standing - a movement that can be challenging for those with limited mobility. The ergonomic shape offers multiple comfortable holding positions whether you're walking, standing still, or resting.

When seated on your rollator, the ErgoGrip handles double as perfectly positioned armrests, providing additional comfort and support. The backward-angled design naturally encourages proper upright posture as you walk, helping to maintain energy and reduce strain on your back and shoulders.

Memory Function and Adjustment

TOPRO's innovative Memory Function makes handle height adjustment simple. Set your ideal height once, and the handlebar tubes remember your preference, making future adjustments effortless.

Design and Manoeuvrability

At just 7.4kg (Small) or 7.8kg (Medium), the Troja Neuro combines lightweight portability with strength. The rollator's compact design, measuring 60cm in width, navigates easily through doorways and hallways. With 12 ball bearings distributed throughout the wheels and forks, you'll experience exceptionally smooth cornering, effortless manoeuvrability and limited vibrations.

The large wheels feature a deep tread which provides excellent grip on various surfaces, whether you're using your rollator indoors on smooth floors or outdoors on pavements. The edge guard protects your walls and furniture from marks whilst enabling simple, confident manoeuvring in confined spaces.

Kerb Lifters

Small obstacles like kerbs become easier to navigate thanks to the built-in tilt function. Simply step on the tilt assist pedal located next to either wheel, and the rollator lifts effortlessly over the obstacle. This thoughtful feature maintains your independence when out and about.

Comfortable Seating

When you need to take a rest, the Troja Neuro provides a comfortable seat made from a durable mesh fabric. The breathable seat keeps you comfortable even during longer periods of sitting, whilst the welded edges provide additional comfort against your legs. The mesh design also offers good visibility when you're walking, allowing you to see the ground ahead through the seat.

The seat height is fixed at 540mm for the Small model and 620mm for the Medium model, providing stable and secure seating at the perfect height for easy standing and sitting.

Easy Folding and Storage

Folding your Troja Neuro couldn't be simpler - just pull the strap on the seat and the rollator collapses into a compact shape measuring 65cm long by 24cm wide. When folded, the rollator rests steadily on all four wheels, making it easy to store in small spaces, wheel through narrow passages and transport in your car or on the bus.

The included lock clamp secures the rollator firmly in its folded position, preventing it from accidentally opening during transport or storage.

Included Shopping Bag

The detachable shopping bag provides 16 litres of capacity and can safely carry up to 10kg of shopping or personal belongings. The bag is easy to remove when you want to fold the rollator, and reattaches securely when needed.

Quality and Testing

The TOPRO Troja Neuro is tested and approved according to TÜV NS-EN ISO 11199-2 (the international standard for rollator security and quality) and EN ISO 10993-1 (the standard for biocompatibility). This rigorous testing ensures you're investing in a mobility aid that meets the highest safety and quality standards.
