Description

The TOPRO Pegasus represents the pinnacle of modern rollator design, combining the lightweight properties of carbon fibre with the exceptional quality and engineering that TOPRO is renowned for.

At Assist Mobility, we're proud to offer you a rollator that doesn't compromise on style, safety or functionality. The Pegasus has been meticulously designed for people who value their independence and want a mobility aid that enhances rather than limits their lifestyle.

Carbon Fibre Frame

The frame is made from premium carbon fibre, the same high-performance material used in planes and Formula 1 car. Carbon fibre is five times stronger than steel yet weighs significantly less, which is why the rollator weighs just 6.1kg. This makes an enormous difference in daily use.

Whether you're putting it into the car boot, lifting it up over kerbs, or simply moving through your day, you'll appreciate how effortlessly the Pegasus responds to your movements. The lightweight design also reduces strain on carers and family members who may need to assist with transportation.

Design

True to TOPRO's Norwegian heritage, the Pegasus embodies classic Scandinavian design principles, including clean lines, functional design, and thoughtful details that make a real difference when you rely on your rollator on a daily basis.

The partially integrated brake cables create a sleek, uncluttered appearance whilst also protecting the cables from snagging on doorways or furniture, reducing the chances of a costly repair.

Reflective panels on the frame, wheels and shopping bag ensure you're seen when you're out in the dark.

Ergonomic Handle System

The height-adjustable handles feature TOPRO's innovative numeric scale system, making it remarkably easy to set the perfect height for your comfort and posture. Simply read the numbers and adjust – no guesswork, no trial and error. The handles can be adjusted from 78cm to 97.5cm, accommodating users from 150cm to 200cm tall (4'11" to 6'7").

The ergonomic grip design supports multiple hand positions, allowing you to find the most comfortable position whether you're standing, resting, or seated. This versatility helps reduce hand and wrist fatigue during extended use.

Brake System

The Pegasus features TOPRO's renowned braking system. The driving brakes are responsive and easy to control, giving you precise speed management with minimal hand pressure. The parking brake locks securely, providing complete stability when you're seated or stationary.

The brake grip distance of just 7cm ensures that even users with smaller hands or reduced grip strength can operate the brakes confidently and safely.

Ride Comfort

The combination of ball bearings in both the wheels and forks creates a smooth walking experience. These bearings reduce friction and ensure the Pegasus glides across a variety of surfaces, from indoor floors to outdoor pavements and even slightly uneven terrain.

The 20cm (8") tyres provide excellent cushioning, absorbing vibrations and small bumps that might otherwise transfer through the frame to your joints. This means greater comfort for you, particularly if you have joint sensitivity or conditions that make you more aware of vibrations and impacts.

The tyres are made from durable polyurethane that won't puncture or require inflation, so you can enjoy the rollator worry-free.

Quick-Release Wheels

The innovative quick-release wheel system makes transportation even more convenient. If you need to make the Pegasus more compact to put in your car boot or travel, the wheels can be removed quickly and easily without tools, then reattached just as simply when you're ready to use it again.

Elegant Shopping Bag

The included, detachable shopping bag has been thoughtfully positioned to maintain your clear forward view whilst providing generous 10kg storage capacity.

The bag features an internal pocket perfect for securing smaller items like keys, mobile phone, or purse, keeping them separate and easily accessible. When you don't need the bag, it detaches quickly and can be used independently of the rollator.

Built-In Seat

The mesh seat provides comfortable support when you need to rest, with a fixed height of 63cm (24.8"). The seat width of 43.5cm (17.1") offers generous space, and the breathable mesh material ensures comfort even during extended sitting periods.

The width between the handles is 47cm (18.5"), providing ample space when moving in and out of the seat.

Easy Folding and Storage

When it's time to fold your Pegasus, simply pull the seat handle and the rollator collapses smoothly whilst remaining stable on all four wheels. The compact folded dimensions of 80.5cm (H) x 65cm (L) x 27cm (W) mean it fits easily into car boots, under tables, or in storage cupboards.

The rollator can be locked in the folded position and wheeled along in tight spaces, making it practical to manoeuvre through narrow doorways or walk ways like the bus.

Manoeuvrability

With a turning circle of just 84cm (33"), the Pegasus navigates tight spaces with ease. The slim 64cm total width allows you to move confidently through standard doorways and narrow passages, whilst the 65cm length keeps the overall footprint compact and manageable.
