Description
Design
The beautifully crafted rollator is designed to assist you like a faithful butler. Its Scandinavian design allows it to blend into your home, but like a butler, it is there as soon as you need it.
Although it is designed for indoors, it can be used on the terrace, patio or balcony.
Reassuringly Stable
Unlike the outdoor-focused Ultralight and Overland, byACRE made the conscious decision to slightly increase the weight of the Scandinavian Butler. Weighing 10kg, it allows you to feel safe and grounded no matter what room of the house you are in. With its durable and dependable steel frame, you'll always feel at ease, even when leaning on the side of the frame.
360 Degrees of Freedom
The eight large wheels allow you to turn on a sixpence. The thoughtful design of the frame allows you to stand upright inside of it, rather than lean onto the rollator like some other brands.
The wheelbase is slightly wider than the handle, this is intentional as it protects you from hitting your hands or elbows when navigating through tight areas such as a door.
Please note: The wheels of the Butler require fitting to the frame. For transportation purposes these are separately packed, safely within the box.
Functional and Aesthetic The design of the Scandinavian Butler ensures that its shape permits you to get as close as possible to your countertops, tables, sinks and appliances. In fact every type of furniture or object where you would need the extra stability that the Butler offers.
Wheels that Glide
You'll glide effortlessly and in silence throughout your home due to the soft rubber-coated wheels. You'll have your freedom back as each wheel moves independently, and at the same time will not mark your floors or tiles. The Butler is designed to make it easy to move over thresholds in the home, such as navigating from the living room to the patio.
Single Brake Bar
The brake handles two situations. Firstly, you can apply gradual pressure to it in order to slow you down. Secondly, you can click it into a fully locked position via a single-handed squeeze. Once in that position, you can use it as your rock, helping you get up off of the sofa or safely lowering you into bed.
Soft and comfortable handle
The handle guarantees a good posture along with a soft, comfortable grip that flows with the shape of the rollator. It compliments the frame colours in a subtle and natural way. The choice of handle material is faux leather, it looks natural and exclusive while being extremely tactile and warm to touch on those chilly winter mornings. The handle is shaped as one piece, that follows the shape of the rollator. It offers you all the support you need while only having one hand on the handle, which frees your other hand to get on with your daily activities.
The Butler's Basket
The Butler basket is thoughtfully designed for everyday use. Crafted from grey cotton with warm, brown faux leather detailing. Easy to attach and remove, keeping essentials handy with practical side pockets helping organise smaller items such as glasses, books and magazines to TV remote controls and mobile phones.. The comfortable shoulder strap enables the bag to be carried easily.
Please note: This is the updated byACRE Butler. Images are for illustrative purposes and some may show the older version with a felt basket.
The Butler's Tray
The complementing tray is always with you. Crafted from birch wood, the tray combines a smooth surface with a non-slip cork section – offering stability while keeping the design light and elegant. Ideal for transporting your dinner from the kitchen to the table, or eating your tea and biscuits from.
Shipping
The Butlers are dispatched from Assist Mobility's UK-based warehouse. We aim to get it to you within 48 working hours of your order being placed.

This is a good rollator but I find it just a tad wide for my one bed flat.
Also, it was quite difficult to assemble particularly attaching the brake cable to the wheel at one end and the handle at the other. It was incredibly tight and I needed two extra people. It wouldn’t add much to the dimensions of the box to come preassembled.

It took my husband a long time to attach yhe brake cables to the wheels. I would never have been able to do this on my own. Please make the packaging bigger so it can be delivered complete

Dangerous and unuseable
No matter how we tried the brakes would not work and rollator had to be returned

Scandinavian Butler
Really pleased with rollator easy to assemble and use. Looks more modern than a lot of rollators. The tray and basket really useful. The only other thing I would have wanted is a small hook to attach a water bottle but otherwise very pleased.
As usual easy to order and delivery as promised.
Understandably this is a significant purchase to make. The below graph displays how much the rollator works out costing you per day over 1, 5 and 10 years of ownership. We hope this provides an insignt in to the value (and freedom) the rollator will provide you over the course of ownership.
