Description

A tribute to freedom, curiosity and exploring
The Carbon Overland off-road rollator is a brand new addition to the byACRE family of carbon fibre rollators.  It's extremely light weight and offers superb driving capabilities on all terrains.

The byACRE design ambition for the Carbon Overland rollator has been to give people freedom to go wherever they want, whenever they want.  In the process, byACRE realised that they were aspiring to the same features as the iconic Land Rover Defender, which has been around for the last 70 years.  In admiration of this iconic vehicle, they created a special limited edition – the Carbon Overland Defender – which is a tribute to the original Land Rover Defender.

Strength
Rumour has it that three out of four of the very first batch of Land Rover Defenders are still roaming the streets today.

The goal of byACRE is to beat that achievement.

The Carbon Overland for all terrain is built to last with a frame made from carbon fibre five times stronger than steel – to prove it, byAcre provide lifetime warranty on the frame.

Versatility
Despite its strong capabilities the Carbon Overland remains a lightweight rollator among all-terrain rollators at only 6.7 kg, thanks to the carbon fibre frame and durable yet lightweight aluminium materials.

This keeps the outdoor rollator agile and able to cover long distances easily.  At the same time, it folds flat from a single movement and can easily be lifted into the car or the airplane.

Freedom
With ultra-durable inflatable rubber tyres and rigid front forks with sealed bearings the Carbon Overland can take on even the toughest terrains.  Combined with the shock-absorbing properties in the carbon fibre frame you have the highest level of driving comfort – regardless of terrain.  In other words:  You will have the freedom to go anywhere.

A companion for outdoor experiences
Going fishing? No problem if you bring your Carbon Overland. You can rely on this all terrain rollator for support and stability when walking in the woods and the seat provides a comfortable and assured place to rest when needed.

Video

byACRE took the best from the Carbon Ultralight and combined it with ultra durable pneumatic tyres, that conquers all terrains.

The result is a design marvel of a tough, versatile, strong all terrain rollator.

byACRE have gathered inspiration from all-terrain vehicles like the iconic Land Rover Defender to design a rollator that is built to last and can inspire to go off the beaten track.

The Carbon Overland is a tribute to freedom, curiosity and exploring.

Acre Outlander Rollator

Very pleased. Excellent design Robust, light and smooth ride. Used it three times in local town. Reduced pain in my back. Have decided to look for a light weight rollator for internal use with no seat and tray but with brakes Excellent service from Assist Mobility

Overland walker

I am very please with my Overland - it was worth the wait. Although the wheels are bulky, because it folds side to side rather than back to front, it is easy to manoeuvre through narrow doorways etc, which I hadn’t expected and is very useful. I find it very sensitive to cambers on footpaths which has taken some getting used to, compared to my old walker. It is lovely and quiet on footpaths, and easy to load into the car. I have arthritis in my hands, and find the handles comfortable, and much less vibration on rough surfaces than my old walker.
My friend (an engineer) was inspecting it for ‘go faster stripes’!

I have had 2 Carbon Ultralites, fine for pavements and easy to transport, but not good on rough surfaces. The Overlander is beautifully engineered, can easily be put in a car, and works very well on rough paths and grass (not loose gravel) in my local arboretum and nature reserve. It does exactly what I bought it for and I am delighted with it. Due to shipping problems delivery was long delayed but it was well worth the wait and AssistMobility kept buyers informed and has been helpful throughout. Would strongly recommend them.

Overland Rollator

I received my rollator on November 15th and since then I have used it four times at our local National Trust site at Tyntesfield.
The grounds there provide a good variety of surfaces and elevations from tarmac, gravel, grass and crazy paving in an undulating setting.
I suffer from severe balance problems and chronic fatigue and so the walk at Tyntesfield is close to what I can physically manage. After using my Overlander I can safely say that the rollator has been transformational. It is lightweight and stable and wonderfully easy to push. Moreover, when I tire I can sit down immediately and recover. I joke with my family that I’m taking my carbon fibre armchair for a walk!
Both the clip on back rest and shopping bag have proved invaluable and have added to the rollator’s versatility and usefulness. It is beautifully made and a joy to use.
I must also record that Assist Mobility were very helpful and attentive throughout - all in all a excellent service and machine.
