The large, soft PUR tyres provide a smooth ride on any surface - the ultimate rollator for every use.

The integrated brakes make the superior design and function of the Nordic Pioneer exceptional - every tiny detail has been made with the user experience foremost.  The Nordic Pioneer is easy to transport due to being so light and easy to manoeuvre either in the car, on public transport or when travelling.

The unique design of the soft, forward-facing handles promote a good, upright posture enabling the user to draw the rollator close to theirbody, where it provides support at the core, thereby putting less strain on the back, neck and shoulders whilst walking.

Made from Expanded Polypropylene (EPP)

The Nordic Pioneeer is made from lightweight, durable EPP plus strong aluminium.  Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) is an exceptionally versatile closed-cell bead foam that has a wide range of special properties, including excellent energy absorption, multiple impact resistance, thermal insulation, buoyancy, water and chemical resistance, particularly high strength to weight ratio and importantly 100% recyclability.

Responsibly made, the sustainable, all-purpose, sustainable, lightweight Nordic Pioneer has reduced environmental impact and is made entirely of recyclable materials.  The frame is made of EPP and aviation grade aluminium which are both 100% recyclable.  Made from sustainable, non-toxic materials in Europe using a low energy consumption.

Key Benefits of EPP

100% Recyclable  Recycled material grades containing granulated end-of-life parts

Sound Deadening  Can dampen absorb or block sound. Porous EPP can provide enhanced acoustic insulation

Impact Absorption  Excellent resilience and cushioning qualities, EPP reforms to its original shape after an impact

Strength  Durable with high strength to weight ratio

Thermal Insulation  Outstanding thermal insulation for both hot and cold applications

Lightweight  Generates weight saving in components leading to fuel efficiencies across many modes of transport

Nordic Pioneer

I am delighted. I received the rollator about one week ago. It was well packaged and arrived unblemished. Had a bit of a struggle unpacking but was able to easily able to try it indoors. Due to the weather here I was unable to try it out outdoors until 2 days ago. Was able to lift it in and out of the car easily. Handles are very comfortable and I was walking more upright. I have rheumatoid arthritis so my hands suffered with the NHS one. It feels very stable. I have had major back surgery and a shoulder tendon tear but am now able to get out and walk in this beautiful part of the world in which I am lucky to live. I am only sorry that suppliers in N.I. are so short sighted as to not even know about this product? The team at Assist Mobility were very helpful as were those in Denmark. Would thoroughly recommend this product.

Excellent walking assistance

The Nordic Pioneer is easy to set up. Reasonably lightweight and provides good support when walking . The brakes are easy to use. Points to note are that the Pioneer provides no means of attaching your walking stick if you use one.

Nordic Pioneer - first week

I went out almost straight away - I haven’t been able to walk much for 3 years so being able to walk has been wonderful. I also have emphysema so my problem is walking and breathing at the same time. The Pioneer helps me to hold my upper body in a better position - more upright - so I am able to breathe more easily and I walked much farther than I would ever have believed. It is so freeing to be outside - see the daffodils and buds on bushes and trees and of course one meets people when one is out and about. The wheels cope well with irregular pavements -which is the reason I chose this model (the Pioneer) and it lives up to its promise. It feels strong and moves very nicely and comfortably. The only other one which would have suited me is the Overland but it is heavier and seems a bit more bulky so in view of my not great health, I’m sure the Pioneer was the best option. It is very easy to use and I can easily get it up and down our front steps as it’s a manageable weight. It looks good - not as good as the ultralight which is very stylish but this is cheaper and much better for an outdoor town/country type of terrain. I still don’t know how to put the bag on and when I wrote to ask you you sent back 5 blobs of what is probably information but since my computer skills are very limited I have no idea how to bring these up so that I can read the instructions. An email or physical pamphlet in with the little pack which comes with the rollator would have made this easy and possible - for everyone. Altogether I am very very pleased with it. The biggest hurdle has been accepting that I needed one. (I’m 75). Once I (finally) realised that I would be stuck on the sofa forever unless I made a decision to accept help and thus bought this Pioneer Rollator, I recognise that its my get-out-of-gaol card….and I’m determined to use it every day ……and probably wear it out!! Thank you for it.
