The byACRE Carbon Ultralight rollator is genuinely an ultra-light walker - in fact, it's one of the lightest rollator walkers at just 4.8kg (10.6 lbs). The sleek frame is made from carbon fibre which is the same material as the body of a Formula 1 car.

Features
Handles
Thoughtfully designed ergonomic handles support you to ensure correct upright posture. The folding seat is positioned forward in the frame, this allows you to stand inside the frame, getting you in an upright and comfortable position.
The rollator has a reassuring braking system; by pressing the brake handles downward, the brakes will be set in a locked position without needing to hold them, this is ideal for keeping safe when seated. They can also be pulled manually at varying pressure, much like a bike brake, to help you slow down when walking with the Ultralight.
The handles offer the perfect spot to rest your arms on when you are sat in the built-in seat.
Brake Cables
The brake cables are uniquely and painstakingly designed to route through the frame in order to give a sleek, untarnished appearance to the Ultralight.
This also minimises the chance of the cables getting caught when placing your rollator in the car or taking it for walks, reducing the possibility of pricey repairs.
In the Box
At no extra cost, the Ultralight comes complete with a handy small organiser bag which attaches to the underside of the rollator. The versatile organiser is purpose-made to hold your personal belongings, such as keys, phone, wallet, sanitiser etc. With the attachable shoulder strap, the organiser can be carried over your shoulder like a small purse or bag, when not being used on the rollator. The bag does not have to be removed when closing the rollator. As with everything about the Ultralight, it is made to perfection and is well thought-out with the user's best interests in mind.
It also comes with a travel lock to keep the rollator folded when in the closed position, being stored or transported.

We recommend a Compact Track based on a user that is 5'2" tall and their hips are 39.3" (100cm) or less in circumference.
Handle Height
The height of the handles should match the height of your wrists when standing comfortably.
Seat Height
The seat height is fixed, but it differs between the Compact and the Regular / Wide sizes. To test which seat height is best, try sitting on a chair which is of a similar height. The most important part of a rollator seat is how easy it is to get in and out of, so try sitting to see if you will be comfortable getting in and out of it frequently.
Width
When manoeuvring in and out of the rollator seat, it is preferable that your hip width is less than the width between the handles on the rollator. You can still use your rollator even if it’s a bit too narrow around the handles, but you may need to do a ‘salsa’ to get into the seat.
You should also consider whether you will be wearing thick coats (especially in the winter) or other items around your waist, as you may then need the extra space.

I considered getting a Carbon Ultralight Rollator for almost a year before I finally took the plunge last week. I suffer from a rare genetic disorder which has severely damaged my lungs, and my mobility has suffered badly due to breathlessness and muscle weakness. Over the course of the past two to three years I have lost my independence due to an inability to walk more than a few metres. I also lost my confidence due to feelings of helplessness that my disability forced upon me. About a year ago I began to consider whether a rollator would help with my mobility issues. I knew it would have to be very lightweight for me to be able to lift it in and out of the car by myself. I have Post Polio Symptoms with a very weak leg, meaning I fall over a lot. A new knee has just been inserted and I do NOT want to fall with that. I bought the smallest ByAcre ultralight for getting around the house as the larger one was scraping the door frames. A very worthwhile purchase. The delivery was a bit hit-and-miss. They did not ring the doorbell, just left it in the garage. The packaging had been damaged (it looked as though someone had opened the box) but, apart from a small scratch on the handle it was OK. Assist Mobility phoned me back within the hour when I emailed them, great service. If necessary I'd buy from them again.

My wife has some disability problems through COPD and Peripheral Artery Disease. She had been looking at different rollators and came across this one. Seemed a wee bit on the expensive side, but decided after looking at reviews to go for it. She tried it out immediately and was impressed by the fact she could walk a lot further than she had before. Went to the local shopping centre today and was able to walk around a lot of different shops and take a rest on the seat as and when needed. This has given Mary (my wife) a new lease of life and she is absolutely delighted with it. On our way into the centre today we bumped into another couple, one of them who also had walking problems noticed the rollater and commented on how cool it looked (strawberry red) and more importantly how light it was. They asked me where we purchased it and I of course passed the details on. In a nutshell, we are both delighted and would highly recommend the by Acre light weight
